Receive mailings
Why am I receiving mailings/mailings/catalogues that I did not request?
Quickmail is not the sender of the mailings but, like the Swiss Post, only the service provider who delivers the mailings.
The provision and selection of addresses is always carried out by the sender of a mailing, not by Quickmail. We do not know where the sender got your address from. We recommend that you contact the sender's customer service so that they can remove your address from their database.
I receive too many mailings. Please remove me from your mailing list.
Quickmail does not operate its own mailing lists or address databases. Quickmail is not the sender, but only the service provider that delivers mailings on behalf of customers - like the Swiss Post. Consequently, Quickmail does not have any addresses on file that could be changed or deleted.
If you no longer wish to receive mailings from a particular sender, please contact the sender directly so that they can remove your address from their address file. All you need to do is send an e-mail or make a quick phone call. The contact details of the customer service department are usually printed on the items.
I would like to have my address changed.
Quickmail does not operate mailing lists or address databases. Quickmail is not the sender, but the service provider that delivers mailings on behalf of the customer. For this reason, Quickmail does not have any addresses on file that could be changed. Please contact the sender directly with your address change.
Withhold mailings
How far in advance should I notify a vacation absence?
If you do not wish to receive mail from Quickmail during your vacation, notify us of your absence no later than four weeks before your vacation.
Can you withhold mailings at short notice if the recipient is absent?
Quickmail offers recipients the option of withholding mailings free of charge in the event of absence (e.g. during vacations). However, we require a minimum lead time of around four weeks to be able to guarantee the interruption of mailings. In the case of notifications at shorter notice, we cannot always guarantee that you will not receive Quickmail mailings during your absence. The reason for this is that many of the items delivered by Quickmail are already produced and made ready for delivery several weeks before the delivery date.
I placed an order with the post office to have my mail withheld during my vacation. Nevertheless, your delivery person has been dropping mail into my mailbox.
As a private mail service provider, Quickmail unfortunately does not have access to the " withhold mail" orders submitted to Swiss Post.
However, you can also submit an order to Quickmail to withhold your mail. In order for us to process your instruction to withhold your mail, we must receive it at least 4 weeks before your absence for administrative reasons. With us, there is no charge for such an order.
